Mr Roy Melendez llamado el Cura a trabajado en el genero de reggaeton por los ultimos 10 anos. su carrera empezo como A&R intern for loud records y sony discos en el ano 1996. By 1998 he had moved to miami fl and began promoting along side of then famous rave promoter Mr. Marc anthony. In 2003 Mr. Roy cura Melendez join forces with his brother Mr. kenny casique Melendez and they began the now veteran entertainment Company "Merk ent". the brothers became famous for their hottest reggaeton thursdays nights @ mundo bar and grill on howell branch in orlando fl, they continue their success by producing five reggaeton concertsNow, in 2008 Merk Entertainment has changed thier companys name to Melendez Music and is only dedicating thier time to develope Cura's career.
