Photography, cute shoes, public art, trying new things, being totally awesome, etc.
Somebody who can totally rock it on the glockenspiel, and also somebody who can explain to me exactly why it is rude to keep your elbows on the table when you eat. (F'real! I don't get it!)
Unfortunately I think my nerdiness for music takes away from being a very hip movie watcher, but a good film is a good film, yeah? Yeah! I rather enjoy:
Closer, 2046, The Science of Sleep, Amélie, Children of Men, The Prestige, The Great Muppet Caper, Ocean's 11-thru-234987054, Intolerable Cruelty, Lost In Translation, Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus
I secretly love really awful reality television. Also: Arrested Development, Will & Grace, Heroes, Lost, Arthur!, Scrubs, non-committal crime dramas, that 24-hour yule log thing they have on during the Christmas season (...seriously, have you seen that? It is amazing!).
"The Time Traveler's Wife", by Audrey Niffenegger; Jonathan Safran Foer even though he can be kind of full of himself sometimes; Harry Potter; most books by David Sedaris; "One Hundred Years of Solitude", by Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez; and Maurice Sendak, of course. I also enjoy cookbooks immensely, but usually I don't use them for cooking purposes.
Bill Nye the Science Guy, the person who invented hoodies, and people who recycle.
