I was born in Mirano in 1981, a little town near Venice, Italy. I began playing bass when i was fourteen years old. I studied for 4 years at Fancelli-Boschello music accademy, and especially Jazz music. I developed my awareness and knowledge about electric bass through a deep personal study, some Italian bass players’ private lessons (for example, Federico Malaman-Paolo Belli) and some international bassists’ master classes. I’m always working for building a personal stile and personal approach to electric bass with particular attention for essential elements in harmonic an rythmical tools.
I love all type of music and especially the music that’s rich of contaminations. This is manifest in my sound and in my expression through the music.
In the past, I’ve played in many bands and projects-artist from funk, blues, rock, jazz and hard-rock. So, I performed in many live shows across Italy and some studio recordings. I collaborated with Alex de Rosso (Dokken) and I’ve played in “Headrushâ€(2005), a studio-project with Alex and Roberto Tiranti (Labyrinth, New Trolls), published by Frontiers Records and distributed in Europe, U.s.a. and Asia.
In this period, I’m playing and collaborating with Federico Solazzo (Giorgia, Zeno Odorizzi), Riccardo Quagliato (Vision Divine), Giuseppe Lopizzo (Luisa Corna, Gino Paoli), Daniele Gottardo (Alexia). Moreover, I play with T-Side(Toto Tribute Band), Show Peppers (Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute band) and Zio Rufus (Zucchero Fornaciari Tribute band).
