Omar Flinch aka Flinch Bundy was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. His family moved to America in the late 90's and he started learning the art of music from there. "It all started when I use to listen to my uncles freestyling at family cookouts, they told me to try and spit suttin' and to them so I just started to rap about my school day and how everything was gettin me mad, and thats when they realized that I had a talent." Flinch then moved to another location around Hartford,CT and that where he met some of the greatest CT rappers of all time Von Doe, Heemi,and Smooth Haynes. "Von and Heemi is the people that reall infuenced me to write music because they seen that I had it and knew that I could do it." "I started writing music with Von and Heemi at first because they were like my only influence at the time they would help me get my punchlines down and my hooks catchy after that i kept doing what i ha to do to get in the direction where i had to go. "Doin music is a hard thing to do you must be up to date with the vocab that people using and it takes alot of time to make great music I had to drop alot of friends to get where ! am now and im still trying to get further." I began to write 16 bars every day and puttin my songs on Myspace and Soundclick, form there i began to listen to the music industry's greatest rappers such as Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z, Snoop, Big L, and much more. I noticed that it's not yourself that your making music for its for your fans , your people that look uo to you, the people that depen on you to make songs that they can relate to. After this I began to make my own music using industry beats and I passed my cd's for free all over my school and all over Hartford, telling people help me on my goal and hopfully this wil bring me somwhere in the music industry. One day at about 7:00 my phone started to ring and I picked it up and on the other line was a man from an indi lable, he told me he wanted me to sign onto his lable and I did, good look.
