My name is Malcolm Lancaster (better known as Mal) and I am a father of two, husband and professional musician in Australia. I have been lucky enough to tour with some amazing musicians and artists in my time. Combined with my live work, I have also been privileged enough to work on some fantastic albums.
The latest three projects I have worked on were for; Ronnie-Rae Rivers - Not yet released, Travis Collins - "No Boundaries" and Beccy Cole - "Live @ Lizottes"
I have also set up a drum studio at home for recording drum tracks. The studio is based around the use of Midi Drums and an amazing sample program called EZDrummer. I have combined this with some mic's to produce drum tracks that are great for demos and other small productions. The beauty of my setup is that people can access the feel and sounds of a real drummer and not have to put up with programmed drums at a price that doesn't blow them out of the water.
My other passion outside of playing music has been with online marketing. I have a business set up called MusicTrolley that provides online marketing services using tools like ecommerce facilities for artists so they can sell their produce on line with minimum overheads.
