BACKFEED RECORDING AND REHEARSAL STUDIOS
Located in Queensbury one of the highest villages in the country Backfeed has been providing quality rehearsal space since 2000. We have finally expanded to include the welcome addition of a recording studio.We are located at the top floor of a listed Victorian mill and one of the main landmarks in the area. The Black Dyke mills complex. We are very easy to find.
We have ample free parking available and undercover loading and unloading with a large lift able to accomodate any size of band.
RECORDING STUDIO
We have a large and comfortable live room with custom built drum/vocal booth all soundproofed and fully equipped. Next door overlooking both is a control room which also allows natural light into the live room. Recording is done through an excellent Soundtracs desk through to a digital workstation.
Because we are recording digitally we can offer almost unlimited tracks whilst at the same time maintaining the warmth and vibrancy of anologue recordings.
A range of guitars, keyboards, FX and amps are available for use during the sessions. For example, vintage 1960's Vox AC30, Fender Twin Reverb, Vintage 70's Simms-watts valve amp, upright piano, Gibson Double cut. All are available to be used at no extra cost.
We are willing to try new ideas and each session is run on the merits of the music. We dont have a standard approach which results in everything sounding the same.
We can cater for any type of music or size of band from solo artists to large ensembles.
Our pricing is within the reach of most people, but recording quality is never compromised. Your project is important to us and its vital that we provide you with a quality product. REHEARSAL
Our rehearsal rooms are much larger and more comfortable than any in the area. All are over 500 square feet, heated and fully serviced. Onsite storage is available.
