All J. California Cooper and James Patterson books. The life changing book was by William Sears "THIEF IN THE NIGHT". I like Iyanla Vanzant, David Baldacci, and Iris Johansen. The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield is a must read. Another keeper is the Five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom.
