We're a group of Rocky fanatics who regularly perform the Rocky Horror Picture Show, primarily in the Sugar Club on Leeson St. in Dublin (but also at festivals etc...)
The Rocky Horror is such a cult classic, loved and obsessed over by so many people world wide, and Ireland is no exception! For Irish Rocky fans the most important landmark would have to be the Classic Cinema in Harold's Cross in Dublin. Wonderfully, the Rocky Horror Picture Show ran every single Friday night, in the same slot for an unbroken 21 years!!!
Every single Friday Rocky fans would get dressed up as their favourite character and come in their hundreds to see the show in all their camp, high-heeled, corseted glory!!!
When the Classic Cinema finally closed its doors for good in 2003, the Rocky Horror was left homeless, much to the distress of the thousands of Irish fans!
Then in 2005 a group of Rocky nuts from Dublin decided it was high time to kick start this 'wonderfulness' again! This time The Sugar Club was the venue of choice and in 2006 we got our first show up and running...to critical acclaim ;-)
While we dont perform every Friday we have had shows on a regular basis ever since...every time in full costume with all the glory of the original show and the movie itself!
The Rocky Horror is back to Dublin, fabulous and flamboyant, corseted and fishnetted, heels, feathers and big make-up...bring it on!!!
