About Me


Well, my name is Cory. I've got a shit-ton of nicknames I've collected over time. Chances are you'll see them reflected in my user name from time to time. I guess the most important thing you should know about me is my affinity for music. My taste is somewhere between "totally incomprehensible" and "human jukebox". It started in the summer of '86 when Dad dropped "Licensed to Ill" on cassette in my lap. Since then, it's been an obsession rarely rivaled by anything else in my life.
I've also got a knack for poetry and free-lance photography. Much like music, I like to think that writing and photography can be as much theraputic as it can be expressive. Considering I wear my heart on my sleeve, it tends to be a little more visible on paper, either notebook or glossy.
As far as personality goes, it's honestly better to hang with me in person than to try and assess me on a social networking site. I don't make my profile intentionally vague 'er whatever, it's just that my life is comprised of the theatre, music, and good friends. I live clean, play nice, and just take life as it comes. I'd like to think being enigmatic makes me more attractive, so I use it to compensate for everything else I suck at. So, if what you find here intrigues you, I do indeed like meeting new people, so the rest of my story is just an IM away.

    As far as new friends go, just interesting people that stimulate me mentally and emotionally. I tend to find something in pretty much everyone worth taking advantage of. In a good way. When it comes to dating, she should be a "nice girl", as Don Vito might say, with a good head on her shoulders, strong morals, confident and sexy, who isn't bi-polar and skipping her meds, not already married, and can appreciate an old school romantic that refuses to give up on finding a true love.
    PLUS..anyone who wants to join the ranks of the Burn My Eyes Army! Did I mention I'm a rocker of sorts?
