The Glamorous Oyster Band

About Me

The jerusalem-based Glamorous oyster Band was formed in in one of those shiny hazy spring days of the year 2004 by its current four member and former keyboardist Rutti Noodle-Woman. It all began with few colourful, circus-like cover gigs (140 viewers at the first show!), including new bizzare versions for some of our favourite artists, such as Jimi Hendrix, The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, Herbie Hancock and David the king of Israel. after warming up we started to develop our own uniqe sound and to create original material. debut LP (self titled), mostly in English and partly in Hebrew, was released in April 2007. it's a self-produced and indipendent-disributed CD, and therfore it's available only in few record shops in Israel at the moment (Uganda, Music House & Hatav Hashmini in Jerusalem), and also directlly from the band members at live gigs, for a minimal price. and if you live outside of the Holy Land, we'll be glad to send you a copy by request to anywhere on the globe!
