ETTORE MARTIN Sassofonista, compositore e arrangiatore di Vicenza, suona professionalmente jazz da più di quindici anni ed ha all’attivo numerose incisioni di cui cinque a proprio nome: "Sitting Bull Dance" (1995), "Soulstreets" (1999), "Natural Code" (2001), “Senzaparole†(2005) e "Corpo Acustico" (2008); in Senzaparole, album della settimana su Rai International nel 2006, affronta alcune tra le più belle canzoni italiane degli anni ’50 e ’60 con quartetto d’archi.
Con il brano “Natural Code†vince nel 1999 il Concorso Internazionale di Arrangiamento e Composizione per Orchestra Jazz di Barga (LU).
Ha suonato in numerosi Festival, Teatri e Jazz Club italiani e anche esteri come ad esempio: Jazzlent 97, Maribor (Slovenia) - Agharta Prague Jazz Festival e Prerov Jazz Festival 02 (Repubblica Ceca) - Italian Jazz in Melbourne 03 e 07 (Australia) - Con il Jazz sulla Grande Via della Seta 03, Tashkent e Samarcanda (Uzbekistan) - Sofia Jazz Peak 04 (Bulgaria) - Jakarta Anniversry Festival 04 (Indonesia) - Vancouver International Jazz Festival 06 (Canada) - Live Jazz Aarau 06 (Svizzera) - Poysdorf Jazz & Wine 07 (Austria) - Hong Kong Accademy for the Performing Arts - Xinghai Concert Hall, Guangzhou (Cina) - Babylon, Brno (Repubblica Ceca) - Bennett’s Lane, Melbourne (Australia) - Jazzatmaag, Zurigo (Svizzera) - Jazzfreunde, Bad Ischl (Austria) - Klub Studencki Zaczek, Cracovia (Polonia) - Lucerna Music Bar, Praga (Repubblica Ceca) - Purgeraj, Zagabria (Croazia) - Reduta Jazz Club, Praga (Repubblica Ceca) - The Cellar, Vancouver (Canada). ETTORE MARTIN tenor saxophone player, composer and arranger from Vicenza (Italy), he is on the italian jazz scene since more then 15 years. He recorded several CDs among which 5 under his name: "Sitting Bull Dance" (1995), "Soulstreets" (1999), "Natural Code" (2001), “Senzaparole†(2005) and "Corpo Acustico" (2008).
With his composition “Natural Code†in 1999 he won the first prize at the “International Competition of Arrangement and Composition for Jazz Orchestra†in Barga (Lucca, Italy). Three years later he is prized with the "Prix musique en ligne 2002" in France with his own composition Roxy included in the CD “Soulstreetsâ€.
