First of all, I would like start by introducing myself. My name is Kemal Yilmaz and I live in the Netherlands. I grew up in The Hague, in the Schilderswijk which is in the West side of the Netherlands. I lived and grew up there. When I was 13, my parents decided to move out of the "achterstandswijken/probleemwijken" (ghetto) and start a new life somewhere quiet. Schilderswijk belongs to one of the 40 neighbourhoods/hoods of Vogelaar. Which are basically 40 ghetto's all summed up and which are main priority to "clear out" and "solve problems". So we ended up living in the dirty South of the Netherlands, in Tilburg. I love hiphop music, but also rock 'n roll and smooth groovy music. Later in life, I am hoping to graduate first for something and find a good job here or in any other country. Of course, I was hoping for either Turkey or America. And after that, my dream would come true if I could travel around the world when I have the time, on my motorcycle.. It would be great. I have high hopes of meeting new people all around the world and hopefully a few celebrities I really want to meet, in America, haha. Anyhow, I started making Hip Hop beats 2 years ago, in 2005. Back then I had absolutely no experience, and a friend of mine, Freek (calls himself Bob Sticky), showed me a little piece of software which allowed me to make (simple) but actually quite nice beats.
Now I use more advanced tools and software to create Hip Hop beats. I've started making alternative music since May 2007 too.. I just want to let people hear how I think music should be like. My favourite city would be, I think Istanbul. It's a jungle man. It's not normal anymore.You can do what you want, whenever you want, and with who you want. I did not choose this city as my favourite city 'cause I'm Turkish, but because that city get's me the closest to a jungle as I can get. F*cking 10 million people live in Istanbul man... I can be delightfuly anonymous.
