About Me

OK, I know barely anybody actually reads these (and if they do, they forget anything that's in them) but I've decided to re-write mine to keep everyone up to date.I'm Matt. Morgan-Rawes. It's a heck of a surname. I actually loathe it. I'm 18 years old. Exciting time in my life, supposedly. Just to update you all, I did get into Exeter. Somehow managed 3 A grades in English, History and Politics. Bit of a fluke really. But that's Exeter's problem now =D ha! I play guitar. Badly. Except for ska music; I'm OK at playing that. I enjoy reading. I don't read enough to really warrant studying Literature at undergraduate level. But I do like reading. Catcher in the Rye. 1984. Stories We Could Tell. The French Lieutenant's Woman. These are a few bloody good books. I do recommend them. I like writing, too. I write poems. And a novel. I try not to be pretentious about it. Am not that good at it really. But I enjoy doing it anyway. Life is about doing the things you enjoy. To a point. But now I'm becoming preachy. And what's with this bizarre use of punctuation, anyway? I really do love music. A lot of people do. I enjoy ska particularly, but I listen to a lot of stuff. Even a bit of rap and r&b now. Thanks, Ross and Jason. I'm obsessed with Weezer right now. Not that you needed to know. But have a listen to The Green Album. Really uplifting music. I have a few nicknames. Scatty Matty (I flinch a lot, gutted). Marfu. Mallew - that's K.A's nickname for me. It's rather cool. MMR - LYK OMG, THATZ LYK THAT VAXEEN! L0LZ MMR MAYTE! Trust, I've heard it all before. Well done for noticing, but point it out to me and I feel a sarcastic response is obligatory. I do rather like my friends. For the most part, my friends have been great to me. 'Cept when they choke me. Long story :P. I admit I'm probably being a bit too open and sensitive now. But there's nothing overly wrong with that, I guess. This is my about me section, so I reckon I can write what I want in it. I've written this in a bit of a blunt and cynical way, but I DO love having fun and basically just enjoying life as much as I can. That's all that I'm going to say in the confines of this about me box. Thanks for reading and feel free to message me sometime. X..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves ska as much as I do. Peter Viggers (You'd think that our local politician would have the time to meet constituents who actually gave a damn about what he did. Sort of.) Aaron Barrett a.k.a The Rock 'n' Roll Villain. Other writers. A girl, tbh.A Brief History Of Ska
