High Horses

The High Horses are three ladies with plenty to say: Roz Girvan, Julitha Ryan and Bronwyn Henderson, complemented by three fellas: busy Melbourne bassist Alan Brooker,guitarist Andrew Briant and Julian Davis on drums (Georgia Fields).Lead vocalist Roz Girvan, whom you may have caught guesting with the fabulous bluegrass band Redfish, has a country-tinged soulfulness in her songs and in her voice, beautifully complemented by Silver Ray piano player Julitha Ryan and Spoils violinist Bronwyn Henderson.All three give in to lush three-part harmony as the songs require, but the harmony is also reflected in the experience and beauty of their musicianship.
