Working with wood, I got lots of wood. (keep your minds out of the gutter please). Furniture restoration and refinishing. Making greeting cards for family and friends using old and embarassing photos. Hockey and collecting old hockey cards. Sports in general except car racing and golf on tv , waaay too boring. Reading mostly political thrillers and sci fi. Mowing grass, if it doesn't stop raining here soon I am going to stop mowing and start restoring and refinishing my Ark. I am learning html and trying to build a website. I could use wysiwyg but I like doing things the hard way (keep your minds out of the gutter please).
The person who invented spam. I have a few words to say to him or her.Anyone who likes to talk about hockey.A lot of dead guys: Lennon, Harrison, Ghandi, Schindler, John Paul II , King, Fox , Shakespeare, Mozart, you know people who made the world better.Wayne Gretzky
I like rock and roll put another dime in the jukebox baby. I am a moody listener if what I am hearing fits my mood I think it's great. I have a decent ear and appreciate musicianship and a good lyric. In another life about 35 years ago I was a radio DJ and got exposed to just about every genre going and actually I like almost all music.
Action adventure, comedies, historical dramas, Sci-Fi. Enemy Mine, Strange Brew, Schindler's List, Gladiator, Hunt for Red October, Star Wars, Caddy Shack, Most of Robin Williams movies, except The World According to Garp which didn't translate to the screen very well (it is a good book). Pretty much anything by Tim Burton, James Cameron, George Lucas, Stephen Speilberg and Atom Egoyan, I loved Pulp Fiction. The Exotica, great plot twists. Don't care too much for some of the newest remakes, Rollerball sucked big time. John Carpenter's The Thing was okay but the origional with James Arness as the Thing still remains one of the creepiest movies of all time. The Exorcist (still the only movie to make me walk out of a theatre). I have watched it since and it still upsets me. I don't like movies with violence towards kids.
Tom Clancy, The Hunt for Red October etc. Dan Brown, The DaVinci Code etc. Shakespeare, the father of most modern plots, Hamlet has it all. Michael Ondaatje, Mordecai Richler, Barney's Version. Richard Bach's Jonathon Livingston Seagull. Sci-Fi Isaac Asimov, Ursula K. Leguin. Blade Runner, the book, the movie was good but not recognizable as the same story. Dune, Roget's Thesaurus, Webster wordy but worthy. Some Stephen King. Nicholas Evans, The Loop and The Horse Whisperer. How to's and who's who's. If I want to try something new I usually find a book to give me the basics, then practice, practice, practice. That's how you get to Carnegie Hall I heard somewhere.

Volunteers the people who make things happen in the real world.
