HEADSHOT[SCHOOLWAVE 2009]

Headshot was a spacecraft of musical expedition formed in the middle of 2006 by the singer Jason mistsis, guitarist George kratsas and bassist Alkis mistsis in order to combine their influence together and create music similar to their heroes. A few months later guitarist Minas Kouroglou joined the band and George met his very twin. Kostas nodaras filled the drummer's spot four months later.

So the band ,soon started giving concerts in small clubs all over Athens in order to form a small fan club consisted of friends ,family and whoever enjoyed their music. After a while the band came to the decision to alter their direction towards music ,to an extreme metal hybrid and create an identity by writing their own music.

Meanwhile resulting to the changes kostas decided abandon the band ,since he was not infavor of their new direction. Hopefully soon enough his spot was successfully filled by Alex sioutis ,who helped the band rise up and perform great in their caree's 2 most important live concerts, on the B.O.T.B finals and schoolwave 2008.

Afterwards Headshot started writing new material for their first demo called The Pain Within which was a self-financed demo cd ,realeased in January of 2009 and contained two of the bands favourite songs,”seek the fire” and “the violator” ,plus a bonus track(seek the fire live)taken from the latest schoolwave . But that was just the begining…Now the band's alanning to record and realease their first official E.P. in july of 2009.
