Mahaliel Bethea aka Sensei MO is a world renowned self defense expert and champion. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan Karate,Tai-Chi and Vee-Arnis-Jitsu.
In 1994, Dojo World News nominated him the instructor of the year. He has been inducted into two Martial Arts Halls Of Fame. Martial Arts Magazine rated him one of the top twenty marital artists in the new millennium and featured him on martial arts trading cards.
Sensei MO has won over 100 Grand Championships, however, his real claim to fame is his martial arts skills on the mean streets of New York City. Don't let his nice guy look fool ya! In the nineties Sensei MO trained club security for a dozen of New York's hottest night spots. His repetition for being an awesome martial artist outside the ring and in the hood became legendary. Folks on the club scene called him 'The Sheriff'. When he was in charge even the bad boys played good. He later became a body guard to sports legend Wayne Gretzky and international film star Wesley Snipes. He has been the instructor to Wesley Snipes( Art of War, Blade II), Delroy Lindo (Heist), Ms. D'Nyce ( Blowoff), Herve Clermont (One Life to Live) and Lewis Dudley (NY1 news anchor). He worked with Jet Li in the action film 'The One' and 'No Good Deed' staring Samuel L. Jackson.
Ex Martial Arts Champion Sensei Mo has been "on Call", for Hollywood since 1999. His movie Credits Includes:The Art Of War(1999),Xmas Diva(2000),The Heist(2000),The One(2001) and No Good Deed(2001). Sensei Mo will carry the leading role in his Current project, The Empty Hands, which he is the executive producer and writer. Sensei Mo also has a book coming out called Street Self Defense.
