I Have something I would like to talk about with you, So if you have the time please read. What im about to tell you is something very close to my heart its not easy for me to talk about this but I feel that its important that every one knows his story. Well! The person im talking about is my CUZ, Samuel Antonio Landingham. Were do I start! I dont know,Well! My cuz was taken from me by the life style he was givin. Every thing im about to tell you is true 100% true, My cuz was killed May 5,2005 on 62 and Rockwell. To me he was real! Not perfect but real! He never backed down from any thing and thats why I loved him so much. Im not going to say he was an angel because he was not, I mean shit! we didnt know how to be angels. But What freaks me out to this day is that my CUZ knew when he was going to die And the day befor he was killed he wrote an letter to GOD and thats what im here to allow you to read today. The name of his letter was "THE BOYS OF OUR TOWN HAVE JOINED IN A GANG" Now remember this was wrote by him one day befor he was killed. Sam "G" I miss you like crazy nigga and ill never let them or my self foget about you "G". I love you with all my heart see you soon baby boy. "THE BOYS OF OUR TOWN HAVE JOINED IN A GANG" HEAVENLY FATHER, Look at our homeboys it wasn't so long ago they where playing with toys, But now they find pleasure in weapons and guns LORD, who can help us but you with our sons. My GOD I am frightened and tired of this violence and of the shootings that break through the silence my prayers with tears reaches up to your throne that in their hands be a BIBLE instead of a stone. FATHER, I pray, Stop this violence and hatred that you put in its place what is HOLY and SACRED I know it can happen and EVIL will depart if they find for you, A place in their HEART. MY GOD UP IN HEAVEN, The boys of our town have joined in GANGS, They are seeking a crown it isn't their fault that they fight their own race therefore all the sadness is shown on their face. SOME OF THEM GREW UP LONELY, With out happiness! Their life's been a struggle and such a big mess while others had so much, There's really all kinds but they all need you in their hearts and minds. To them life is just a trip and ride with so much they've done, Yet not satisfied the liquor and drugs work only a while and without realizing took even their smile. FATHER ALMIGHTY, Fill our homeboys with GRACE that they fight the DEVIL and not their own race for they are in DARKNESS, They see but are blind let them forgive and forget, An LOVE their own kind. I know you can help them and also protect for you can see all things, aAn trouble detect. Things will get worse, The BIBLE does say, But I also know things will change if we pray. AND DEAR LORD, I also pray for each MOTHER & FATHER whose faith is not in you, But some religion or other. OH JESUS, What's keeping them from coming to you? Why can't they see that their sons would come too? There's so many places where the truth they can learn that's all about you, An made easy there's no excuse, Unless for you they're too busy. LORD, You are coming and with you we'll depart, But for those who will stay, The nightmare will start. JESUS, I pray for our homeboys, You will wait, That they will get ready and not be too late.(AMEN) I HOPE THAT EVERY THING YOU WERE JUST READING WILL STAY WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU HAVE LEARNED SOMETHING FROM READING THIS LETTER.
