" I started taking piano lessons at the age of eleven ; it was my own choice. After scientific studies, I entered the Louis Lumière national school in Paris, best known under the name of « Vaugirard » in the cinema field and I got a cinema advanced vocational training certificate specialized in sound. Then I worked for the television, the radio and the cinema as a sound engineer (RMC, France3, RFO, France2 ...).
But along with that first job, I had a passion for composing. I was part of a rock band with whom I gave concerts and recorded an album. I dedicated myself to music more and more ( TV and radio credits, choreography music, music for commercials, music for websites ...).
Then I met Florent Pagny (famous french singer and actor), a rather magical meeting. I worked with him on several musical projects, especially a film theme based on Inuit ethnic traditional songs. Quite a lot of techno music projects too. I co-arranged for him the song « Vendeur de larmes » on the album « Récréations » (Universal Music). He rang me one day and said he was making a film and for some of the scenes, they were already using some of my fim scores to create the appropriate atmosphere. That was the starting point of my work for the theme of his film directed by Jacques Cortal « Quand je vois le soleil », with Marie-Claude Pietragala and François Cluzet (DVD at Universal).
I worked, among other things, on the project « Almacantar ». It was like a bend between the actual song, the film theme and the ethnic mixings which I’m particulary fond of (eg Marquisard and the Inuit project)."
