the kaants

the kaants are neil kaant strum on the guitars and vocals, clint kaant pluk on the bass and the lead vocals, and brendan kaant hittem on the drums, cymbols and the backing vocals. we are brothers that have come together to play some punk rock of our own style, keeping it simple, but rad and fun. the kaants started at the begining of 2007 with brendan being a former guitarist from such rockhampton bands as, jimmy cragar and globel riot, buying a $60 drum kit from a mate, brendan started to practice the drums and becoming very well self-trained, we couldnt be happier. neil was also in jimmy cragar with brendan, and before that neil was in the local rockhampton band next2nothin', and neil kept thrashing on his guitars for the kaants, neil is known to sing the odd song from time to time. clint was the former lead singer/guitarist for next2nothin, and clint picked up the bass guitar, plucked away and completed the 3 piece punk act. the kaants got quickly well known around rockhampton with the help of tim price and o'dowds irish pub, the kaants have played at o'dowds many times for local rocky bands, to the odd brisbane band, the kaants have played 2 shows in gladstone, and other shows at local rockhampton pubs( the anchor hotel, the post office hotel, just to name a few). the kaants have recorded twice, 5 of their songs are up on their myspace( myspace.com/thekaants ). the kaants are a band that thrives on energy and loves to have a drink.well thats all i can think of, see you at the showneil kaant strum, clint kaant pluk and brendan kaant hittemthe kaantsTHE KAANTS CD IS OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
