Finally getting my ass onto myspace. Posted a couple of Sean Cotton tunes. 'Up above the clouds' is a hidden track on the 'Last call club' album, written by Sean and Corin Raymond, couldn't resist the opportunity to throw up a gratuitous bass solo. ('bass solos suck').
'Sleepin like a vampire' was recorded @ the Guvernment as part of the opening set for the Rockstar;INXS roadshow last May in Toronto. Recorded by Chris Perra and mixed by myself with killer performances by Steve Klotz (keys) and Sean Cotton (guitar).
'What life is for' is a track from Brad Gardner's demo reel. Co-Produced, recorded, and mixed by myself. Mike Churchill (from the Cotton band) plays drums. Mikey's great, has this huge pocket, makes me sound way better than I am.Having a great time playing, recording, and mixing music with some of the best people on the planet. Currently working on a full length CD for Brad Gardner, (that handsome young lad at the top of the page), Brad's an incredble talent with tons of great ideas and a genuine love of music.......Looking forward to some live shows with The Sean Cotton band, Rik Emmett, and Suzie Mcneil. You can catch me every third Thursday with the "Cotton Orchestra" in Port Credit. We're gearing up for a new live recording soon, trying out new material, and generally goofing off (musically).............
The Rik Emmett band will be hitting the Eastern US this month, and we'll also be playing a fair amount festivals and clubs this summer. Rik and Dave Dunlop are two of my favorite guitar players.........Suzie Mcneil's just released her debut CD, and she totally sings the hell out of it live, it's a real joy playing music with her. She'll be doing a bunch of shows in the Summer and then embarking on a tour that I hope to be a part of........
