KING is a Neo Soul/R&B singer and song writer who reigns from South East, Washington, DC. Born and raised there, his style is unique which includes all types of music. His lyrics, which he writes himself, are real and his fans connect with every verse. KING has a wonderfully magnificent and extremely energetic stage presence. He has dynamic sex appeal and a beautiful voice to match. KING developed an early love for performing at the age of eight. Once graduated from High School, he pursued his singing career further by becoming a member of different local bands such as Royalty. The Younger Generations, Level One, and Epic. In 2003, KING made up his mind to pursue his solo career, and has been on fire ever since! He’s performed in many venues throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area such as The Mocha Lounge, Bohemian Cafe, H2O, Bar Nun, Ellington on 8th, Club Mirrors, several fundraisers for Sickle Cell Anemia and many more. King has recently relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina and in this short time he’s performed live at “Way Wit Words” at the Broad Street Cafe in Durham, 2 time guest at the UNC Multicultural Day at Chapel Hill's Children's Hospital and appeared live as a guest on WXDU 88.7 Radio Show “Shairi’s Poetry Radio Show”, As well as opening for Christian Artists Yolanda Adams, Smokie Norful and Dave Hollister at the Showplace Arena in Maryland.
