Hi everybody:
I am an author and entrepreneur currently working on my first book, Escape from Corporate America, which will be published by Random House in early 2008.
The book was originally inspired by my experience walking away from a great six-figure job to start my own business and spend more time on my writing.
I went on to talk to hundreds of other people who ditched their corporate jobs to pursue their career passions – from successful freelancers to well-known entrepreneurs to founders of nonprofits to artists and filmmakers.
I have lots of advice for anybody who’s feeling stifled in a corporate job – whether you’re looking to leave or just find a job you like better.
