Born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1970, Ricardo Ormsby a.k.a Focus is a gospel reggae rapper whose mission is to spread the love of Jesus to the entire world through song. He resided in St. Elizabeth for a short time before relocating to the United States in 1989. His inspiring lyrics and anointed performances will inspire you to dance like King David before God.
A former gangster that was bound by drugs and pornography, Focus was saved and miraculously delivered one day by the power of God in his friend’s house. His life has never been the same ever since.
Focus has since performed at many different venues and concerts, opening for artists such as Papa San, Carlene Davis, Prodigal, and CeCe Winans and Diane Mann.
Focus has tremendous faith and love for God and is fulfilling a prophecy by Bishop H. Fernandez and gospel artist Donnie McClurkin that he will be used mightily by God and will have a successful musical career.
