Just got back from 8mths in Thailand and I'm so glad to be back in the city. I'm really enjoying reconnecting with friends again and just plain being. I'm into travel and have done a lot but am really happy to be back home. I'm a downtown girl who doesn't like pretention and arrogance but confidence and boldness are cool. I expect open and honest communication with anyone I hang out with as I think they are the key to any relationship. I like people with a bit of edge and who enjoy pop culture and art cause I'm a junky. I tend to give a little too much and am trying to work on that. I haven't lived my life conventionally and I like it that way.The best experience I've ever had was sitting in a temple surrounded by monks and the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India. I'm not religious at all but I respect the man and was humbled to be there with him. My other favourite experience was dancing for 6 hours in a ghetto in Rio de Janeiro during Caranaval with 6 afro-Brazilian drummers providing the beats.
My favourite thing right now is hanging out with my dog, who was a stray I brought back from overseas. She is the cutest thing and I can't get enough of her.
