About Me

2008 ATM's National Enterprise Award Winner
2009 .....
About me then:
I started out as a singer, then I started to write lyrics, then I picked up a guitar and right now I am really getting into sound and production....I'm going to study music theory later this year also, so I too can start to talk in letters and numbers ha ha ha. I love music...
About the album:
It's been a long, long, long, long, long time coming but it is nearing the finish line now. What you hear here are the first bunch of demos recorded, but I have since stripped them all back and started the production process afresh . So, whilst some things have stayed the same, others have been recorded again or changed completely. I can't wait to showcase it. And I although am kind of tempted to stick something up now whilst I am finishing the mixes, until they are all done, I am just gonna have to wait!
The new album embraces many genres including: folk, funk, soul, reggae and jazz but influences are innumerable, from a multitude of artists and genres. The DIY route can take longer I guess but it is certainly very satisfying to be 100% involved from the very beginning to the very end of the creative process.
Should mention too that I'm also available as a session musician (live/studio). You can contact me at: [email protected]
I really like these:
"Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid.”
“Where words fail, music speaks.”
"The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions."
"I know it's only Rock n Roll but I like it."
Enough said right? E Allora? Forza, ragazzi! Andiamo!.... all'insegna della musica!
