Thanathron was formed in Strzelce Opolskie, Poland in 2003 (May) by guitarist and vocalist Vulgar Anal Inhalator, bassist - Popek and drummer - Anal Intruder. In Januar 2004 Popek leave the band, Anal Jack joins. In April Thanathron played first live show. In July band recorded first demo/reh "Hell Is Here" (250 copy). In May 2005 Anal Jack leave the band, and Anal Inspector joins. In August thanathron recorded demo "Hiarra". In 2006 "Hiarra and "Promo 2006" was releases as split CD "Ritual Of Possession in Blasphemy" (with EMPHERIS, Poland) by Kerzakraum Records (1000 copy). In July Anal Intruder and Anal Inspector leave the band. On last rehearsale was recorded "Twilight of The Anal Era". In August thanathron recorded "Nosferatu" (also released on split Tape with BELETH - Hell Is Here Production - battery on this demo was recorded by: Sukkor Benoth from Beleth horde).
Since 2004 thanathron played some shows with: Besatt, Saltus, Inferno (CZ), Adultery (CZ), Themgoroth, Katharsis, Beleth, G.O.R.E (cz), Massemord,... and more. Live shows was support by: Denat Masturbator - Visual Master !!!
