CORONA PIANO TRIOPianist Paolo André Gualdi has been a featured soloist with many orchestras, has given numerous recitals including appearances at the American Liszt Society, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Cincinnati Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, and Elon University. He has won the top prize in many piano competitions including the Françoise Grimaldi National Competition, the Bartók-Kabalevsky International Competition and the "De Martino Award" at the Ibla International Piano Competition. Gualdi studied at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Conservatory Arrigo Boito in Parma, and Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently assistant professor of piano at Emmanuel College while pursuing a Doctorate in Piano Performance at the University of Georgia.
Sinisa Ciric, violin, received his undergraduate degree from the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad (Yugoslavia) and a masters degree from the University of Georgia. He is pursuing a doctorate in violin and viola performance at the University of Georgia studying with Prof. Levon Ambartsumian, and Dr. Mark Neumann. Mr. Ciric is the concertmaster of the New Atlanta Philharmonic, the Gwinnett Ballet Orchestra and the Rome Symphony, GA. As a member of the ARCO Chamber Orchestra, Mr. Ciric performed in Carnegie Hall and was featured as a soloist on ARCO’s most recent recording of Vivaldi’s concertos for two, three and four violins. Mr. Ciric teaches violin, viola and chamber music at Oxford College at Emory University
Josip Petrac, cello, received his Bachelor of Music degree at the Academy of Music at Zagreb University, Master's degree at Georgia State University, and currently is working towards the completion of Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Georgia. He has studied with Nino Ruzevic, Martha Gerschefski and David Starkweather. Josip has won 1st prize at the National State Competition in Zagreb, Croatia in 1992, and 3rd prize at the same competition in 1994. He also won the Concerto Competition in 2006 at UGA. Mr. Petrac teaches at Oxford College at Emory University and Georgia Christian University at Lilburn.
The newly formed Corona Piano Trio has played concerts at Emanuel College and UGA’s Ramsey Hall and have scheduled performances at Jacksonville State University and Oxford College. Trio recently performed Beethoven Triple Concerto with Georgia Philharmonic.
