Biography Beatsbelievers (Alert / Picnic / Intimit Music)

Deejay Zupa has been spinning the decks since 1995. His music style varies from jazz, funk and disco to funky minimal house and electro and he likes to get the crowd into a swing and never lets them down. His home base is Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where he has a residency at café Hoogste Tijd, the smallest club in town. For years deejay Zupa has invited many of his fellow deejays to play there, making a massive impact on the local dance scene. Zupa has played in numerous clubs troughout the Benelux and Germany, amongst others: Café d'Anvers, De Rechter, Effenaar, Club 11, Muziekodroom, Club Rembrandt, Storm and the Zoo. Festivals he's performed his sets at include: Simple, Virus and Extrema Outdoor.

Deejay JB'77 is best known for his clubby uplifting ‘crowd moving' style. In the past decade he has performed at different venues like De Rechter, Effenaar, Calypso, and the Dance 4 Free festival at Fast Forward. For years, his residency has also been based in café Hoogste Tijd in Eindhoven. In addition to his deejay gigs he does bookings for Club Rembrandt, housed in a former cinema. There he is responsible for maintaining, supporting and promoting it's already big and successful club nights!

When performing together, JB'77 and Zupa present themselves as Beatsbelievers! Their beats leave no one untouched. With their groovy funky & eclectic sounds they present a mix with no compromises that will make you stamp your feet! They've already been booked twice as the opening act of Berlin's legendary Booka Shade. As a result of Beatsbelievers versatile club sound, they are resident deejays at the biggest gay and lesbian party in the south of the Netherlands, ‘Friso' held in the Effenaar in Eindhoven. Beatsbelievers also host the ‘deep down and dirty discotech' club night known as ‘Picnic' at the Hoogste Tijd and are getting many invitations to other party's. Their main goal is to transform their love of music onto the dancefloor!
