About Me

im a progressive house dj and producer based in melbourne australia[originally from england - accrington to be exact].
as for the music here goes:
i first bought a pair of 1210's back in 1990, while growning up with the early rave scene in the UK. pretty much ever since the progressive house arrived i have been into the sound. in 2002 i started to produce my own tracks recording under the name of scien.as for the DJing style. well, always forward thinking and over the years relied heavily on technology - not just using the 1210's, but using cd's and drum machines. until early 2004 when i was blown away by ableton live and promptly sold my 1210s. using live allows me to re-edit tracks to add the originality, depth and structure that just wasnt possible with vinyl.
the next thing i have underway is building my own custom made midi controller for use with ableton. you can check out some photos on my website.
while i get some tracks up here you can also check out some of my dj mixes at www.scien-audio.com.
and remember...."The TV business is uglier than most things. It is normally perceived as some kind of cruel and shallow money trench through the heart of the journalism industry, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs, for no good reason."
