Band Members: Dusty Weick - Lead guitar, accoustic guitar, drums, bass, keyboards....
Influences: Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Tesla, classic style rock, blues, Marshall tube amps, Ibanez guitars, D'Marzio picups, and things of that nature.... The list goes on!!On an inspired note, I have a deep rooted passion for nature and every thing wild. In my mind I obsess over an ancient world with out greed. A world that no creature takes more than it needs.
Imagine going on a trip to Earths identical twin sister Eartha. But there is one difference. This happens to be the first time we have ever been to the twin planet.
I often let my spirit go to that ancient Earth. I can see it. I can smell and taste it. I can almost touch it.
Naturally, any normal human interaction or interference would instantly pull my spirit back to modern Earth. Music is the only human language that doesn't spoil my trip to ancient Earth. This tends to cause the songs I'm playing to have extremely long solos. So to make them even longer, I teamed up with a real live Indian named Jeff Tall String. Well, hes Cherokee and porchegese, but he is a spirit guitarman as well. Between him and I, we can make a three and a half minute song into a ten minute song! That means longer trips to la la land!
So thats where most of my inspiration comes from when Im " toatally rocking out " on my guitar. If it looks like Im realy happy, you know where I am.Dusty,
Sounds Like: ROLL' N 'ROLL!!! ( what ever that sounds like ). A little like all of my influences.
