Mmm, Toasty Goodness! And Pie!

About Me

"She tackles everyday life with a perverted innocence that just makes you want to give her a big hug... and then stand back very quickly while checking to see if everything is still attached." Roman Dirge explains his character Lenore this way. My friend said it fits me too. Hm. I suppose I do kinda look like this when the alarm goes off too early:
You Are 64% Evil
You are very evil. And you're too evil to care.
Those who love you probably also fear you. A lot. How Evil Are You?I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Everything and Nothing simultaneously... it's tricky but never boring...

I'd like to meet:

The pixies who dematerialize my paycheck, the gremlins who eat my net writing and the imps who shut off my alarm clock when I'm already late. Then, we'll have martini's, go dancing and I'll get them good and drunk. When they pass out I'll reclaim my paycheck, recover my lost words and...and... oh hell, the imps can HAVE the damn alarm clock. Who am I kidding, I know I'll pass out before they do... Who do I WANT to meet? Good spiral surfers? Humor lovers? Sure. Say something witty if you're going to say something, we'll see. We'll see if I can say something witty back ;

Music:

Random notes played in auditorily pleasing groupings. No monotone self hype talking, no nasal drawls, I'm even over screaming vibes with no substance. I like music. Yes I do. What music you ask? It all depends...

Movies:

Mirrormask, Serenity, Kill Bill!, Donny Darko, Broken Lizard flix, Dead and Breakfast, Run Lola Run, Roadside Prophets, Once Upon a Time In Mexico, Brotherhood of the Wolf, The Borne Identity, Tomb Raider(1), Four Rooms, Dead Man, Pulp Fiction, The Holy Grail, Original Sin, Moll Flanders, The Nightmare Before Christmas (okay, this one just loves Tim), The Fifth Element, ...now we're on to type: good Kung Fu movies (Jet Li,Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh), thought provoking, good sci-fi, twisted humor, dark comedy, action (mostly of a kung fu nature,heh)... those that break the mold of the sequel or the remake or those that, having watched them over and over, I still end up watching again because I can't look away.

Television:

I watch more tv than I probably should. I get my news from Jon and Stephen. I watch the weather channel in the morning and I'm an HGTV and SciFi Friday Night addict. Basically, I can think with the white noise of tv in the background. It's only an issue when I allow a series or movie to interupt things I really should attend to.

Books:

There was a list here... it's gone, my library is out growing a simple list. I have to have a book with me at all times. Even if I'm not really into it, I need something to read. I'm making up for lost years when I exchanged regualar reading for experiencing. At some point that switch and soon, people started introducing me to books, good ones, that managed to hold my almost ADD like attention. I like books that don't usually make the top pop best seller list. I won't read the Davinci Code on principle alone. I like creepy, dark, well written stories. Inventive adventures in a somewhat scifi spooky tone. Or just well written (I say again) books. There seems to be so much shit on the shelves these days... I tend to find an author and read everything they wrote until I can find another one. Oh, papery goodness... surprise me.

Heroes:

I don't think I have hereos... I just have some feeling of respect for these humans: Shirley Muldowney, Lisa Gerard, Angelina Jolie for their abilities and fearlessness. OH, and George Washington Carver- that man was waaaay ahead of his time.

Weird (?) Shit

I fell asleep on the couch last night.  Again, the TV on, random late night early morning crap blasting out at me... I passed out before I could set it to Cartoon Network for at least a little su...

Then, Here

Another fine morning of dreaming.  There were perhaps 3 different 'tangible' scenes I drifted through.  I say tangible in the sense that I had a distinct memory of each when I woke.  I...

Which came first, the thought or the hint?

I'm not sure if I picked the destination out of convenience and then everything started popping up with the theme, or if the theme existed, I picked the destination and then the theme became a r...

A Bearable Lightness of Being

Somehow, even without the wand, the universe decided that I should be given the gift of producing something from nothing, someone from no one and just plain getting my little juggling act that much fu...

The purpose of Paprika

Honestly, I always thought it was just for color.  It never seemed to have any specific purpose or taste, aside from looking good on the pineapple rings that decorated hams when I was a kid. ...

And me without a magic wand...

If I had a top hat, I could wave the wand over it. If I had more flexability, I could reach around wave the wand over my back side. But, I am wandless, sans wand, without magick legth of material...
