polticz

polticz (pronounced "pol-tice") is a newly-formed, multi-disciplinary collective, experimenting primarily in sound, composed-text, and visuals. Founded by Declan O'Meara and James O'Gorman in Cork, Ireland in November 2006, it is expanding to include other artists.The unsettling imagery polticz explores/unearths derives mainly from the dark fringes of consciousness, where dreams/nightmares inter-breed with and cannibalize reality; where anguish and dejection lead to cataclysmic catharsis; and where the horrific assumes a transcendental quality.....
