Sarte Sjæle

Sarte Sjæle (Fragile Souls), started as a musical project called Somnambulistic Soul, back in 1999. The aim was from the begining to experiment with sound and production. In 2003 Guitar and vocals were added to "Beneath a steel sky". The vocals were done my Asbjørn Jensen.A lot of experimenting has been done in the past, but for now the way seems clear. Progressive song structures, disharmonic and atonal passages, jazzlike feellings and rhythms, themes with references to classical music and movie soundtracks. The lyrics are in danish and english.Sarte Sjæle is about emotions. The psychological focus is subconsciousness. Most of the music is written at night or at moments of strong moods.We are interested in more people who wants to guest or be a permanent member of this band. Singers as well as programmers.
