About Me

Once upon a time a romance editor at Silhouette Books fell in love with an elusive New York City cop. At the time he was immersed in cop culture and the guys from his Queens neighborhood, so she gave him space and kept herself preoccupied with romance manuscripts, good friends, and chick activities in Manhattan long before “chicklit” was even coined.

Fast-forward to the cop and the editor-turned-writer transported to the great expanse of green in the Pacific Northwest with their two children. She is trying to remember what it’s like to dine in restaurants without crayons on the table so she can capture coolness for her next novel. He is trying to negotiate the code of the west and convince left-coasters that accent does not equal attitude. Tune in tomorrow to find out if the cop and the editor can reinvent themselves in slacker country.
