The Don

I'm Markus. I'm pretty laid back. I am the Don if you haven't already noticed. I love food, basketball, friends,family in no particular order. I'm a very real person and people that talk to me should not get their feelings hurt. Ive become increasing intolerant of people who are fake and of people who are just so "normal." i love being around different people who tell it like it is and who have no problem saying so. It seems ridiculous that people have to hide who they really are because they want to fit in ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------- theres a reason why basketball is the best sport of all time. its all the freaks in the world (tallest to smallest, fastest to strongest). there aren't 15 positions and there aren't 25 players on one team. there are no helmets. no pads. no grass. its hardwood. its unforgiving. its playing in muggy gyms in the middle of july just because you wanna be the guy when November rolls around. its on ur feet for 48 minutes. never a dull moment. there are no huddles. no pitching changes and no 7th inning stretch. its being a man in the paint and an assassin on the perimeter. its because its the only sport that is 80 percent mental and 20 percent physical. its because there aren't steroids running wild and people who watch aren't fat slobs who think about their glory days in high school when they couldve won that state title had they not tore the rotator cuff in their throwing shoulder while dancing with their cheerleading captain girlfriend. its about playing the game one bounce at a time. its about heart. nothing in the world sounds or feels better when that ball snaps the through the net. swoosh!
