Tobias Lüke aka O.B.I.

aka OBI, who was born in the German town Greven, got in touch with electronic music when he was 13, and subsequently started to spin at 14, making his debut as a club DJ with 18 and an impact as a newcomer contest winner in Münster’s phenomenal Fusion Club. In 2002, after a few successful gigs, he began to organise his own events called TekkTribe which grew into a fully-fledged booking agency and a label in 2003. TekkTribe started to become an established name for Hardtechno as they released records like the infamous “Gehörsturz EP” and organised parties with well-known faces of the scene. Soon, OBI also started to release on other labels like Compressed, Nerven, Skull Tunes, System Calls, Abstract, Wired, Combat Skill, Schubfaktor, Artillery, Crowbar, Carnage, Lifeform, Working Vinyl, Synopsis, Friendly Fire and many more.Tobias is available for bookings worldwide. He already played in countries like Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, UK, USA, Brasil, Columbia, Venezuela, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.... He already played in some of the most important festivals around europe: Awakenings, Cubase, Nature One, Apocalypsa, Monegros and Meet Me. Since 2006 O.B.I. is a special resident and partner of NGOHT (New Generation of Hardtechno)in Budapest where he goes every 3 months to play his sets for hungarian Techno lovers. Tobias is also resident of "Cinema" one of Kievs best clubs for Electronic Music. This Year (2008) he becomes partner of the biggest techno organisation in Portugal, "TechnoInside".
