autopulver

Autopulver was a spin off from Jack in the Box - only with less metal guitars and eventually more keyboards. They started out as a four pice band on their debut album "F-words"" (1997) with new singer Dagga and the three remaining members from Jack in the Box. Later on Anders Hunstad on keyboards joined and the band wanted to experiment a lot more after the guitar based first album, resulting in a radically new sound three years later on the follow up, "Vapor Trails".Their music did get some airplay and songs like "Frisbee", "Friday", Remedy/Surgery" and "Kissing Like A Mainstream" was frequently aired on Norwegain, Dutch and Belgian (rock) radio stations. The band toured quite a few times in BeNeLux and the commercial highlight was when they shared stage with Leftfield, Alanis Morisette and Bloodhound Gang (amongst others) on the Beach Rock festival in Belgium in 2000. Autopulver also played the well-known Dutch festival, Lowlands in 1998 and were surprised when about 3000 showed up an early Sunday morning for their first ever performance in BeNeLux.
