My name is Alex Holland and I was born and brought up in sunny Somerset. I lived in Saarf London for 21 years and worked for most of my days in the wonderful world of rock and roll, managing the following bands:- Llwybr Llaethog, Back To The Planet, Revolutionary Dub Warriors, Headmix, Nucleus Roots and Dubdadda, all under the name of Bastard Management. Also worked for On-U Sound and Pressure Sounds record companies (with the likes of Lee Perry, Dub Syndicate, Adrian Sherwood etc) and a music publishing company called Westbury Music Ltd. I also worked for a music, performance and production agency called Continental Drifts. I have stage managed stages at festivals and tour managed tours for my sins! Currently I am working for a local tent hire company called Roustabout who put big stripy tents in festivals and the like. Live up a mountain in a 400+ year old farmhouse with my good lady Sam or Sarah, who is an event organizer, and three of her four daughters, two dogs and three cats. We got married on November 15th 2007 in the tea room on Talyllyn Railway! We decided the date by random selection and the wedding and party were the best ever!!! At the moment I am a superstar DJ going by the name of DJ Badly and I play all over the shop at festivals, (Glastonbury, Electric Picnic etc) parties and bun fights. I have been doing this since the last millennium! (Watch out for dodgy imposters!) I have also been a professional layabout and house husband. Most of my time is spent being completely naked under my clothes.
