My husband Dave, my babies who arent babies anymore, family, friends,Jesus Jam kiddos, church, talking, helping people, meeting new people and going new places, anything arsty-crafty like scrapbooking, cardmaking, cake decorating, drawing or painting, also gardening, reading, listening to music. We currently have 2004 HD Nighttrain (always did fall for those boys on motorcycles!) and we love to take our camper out with the kids. Oh, and I love shoes! Recently have taken an interest in making healthy lifestyle changes for our family including cooking and eating healthy, eating organic and all but eliminating sugar. Who woulda thought?...
Friends.People who are honest and nice to me. Happy people that want to chat. Sad people who need someone to listen to them. Angry people who need to vent. People that have ideas about changing the world in a positive way and a desire to put them into action. Prefer no whiney complaining negative people, but I'd love on them too. >
Really into Chris Tomlin right now. Good tunes that have a message for the heart. Have never been a Linkin Park fan,but I am drawn to the video and music of 'What I've Done" .Favorite Artists and groups are Casting Crowns, Third Day, Toby Mac, Newsboys, Kutless, Steven Curtis Chapman, , Aaron Shust, David Crowder Band, Jeremy Camp, John Cox,Audio Adrenaline. I liked Creed but dont care much for Alterbridge. Still like country as long as its clean like Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and my heart will always belong to Johnny and Willie AND... My knees still go weak to hear Alabama sing Born Country or High Cotton!
Steel Magnolias,Pretty Woman,Overboard, Dirty Dancing, Roadhouse, Forrest Gump , Father of the Bride 1&2,Legally Blonde
Not big on the noisy lightbulb, but HGTV has some interesting shows and Gilmore Girls is good although its mostly re-runs and now they are gonna take it off the air which Im not thrilled about. I like to watch Paula Deen and Giada deLaurentis and the wedding cake challenges on the Food Network.Ace of Cakes is cool. But cool isnt cool.
Im a mom, so reading time is something I have to make time for but lately Ive been reading like crazy. For myself personally,The Bible is an everyday must. Currently reading Beauty for Ashes by Joyce Meyers. Yeah, not typically a big jm fan, but its good. Just read Max Lucado 3:16 and the Clean Diet and before that read John Eldredge's Captivating and loved it- I highly reccommend every woman or man who loves a woman to read it! Lifestories by Mark Hall,Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace series, Stormie Omartian's Power of a Praying Wife and P.O.P. Parent.I like reading Junie B Jones and Rainbow Fairies with my daughter Abbi. Unfortunatley, Christian is really into Harry Potter and C.S.Lewis so I read a lot of that too...but not my choice in literature. Not a big sci-fi fan, but Id do about anything for the boy.:)
I hate to sound like the Sunday School answer, But Jesus really is my hero! He rescued me.There are several others that I look up to and admire for their courage and strength like my mom cause she stayed positive and faithful throughout cancer or my sister Tracy cause she inspires me to try hard and do my best. Dave, because I know where he started, how far he had to go and where he is now. What an amzing man God gave me!
