The Den

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

This is a small glimpse of The Den, we are a specialist Coffee House and Games Center out in Falkirk and we thought you might want to know about us, we certainly want you to know about us. Where should we start. Well alot will be filled in about the staff and why we do what we do in the other sections. But we are at essence a place to supply the Comfert, Atmosphere, Speciality Coffee and Teas, Good Food, Live Music and the Gaming Fix that you would like, and that we have become Award Winning for. With an almost separate structure for the Games Center and Coffee House both parents and children, or different groups of friends can enjoy different experiences in the same location, it means everyone gets peace and quiet, or competition and adrenalin enough to suit themselves all in one location. So pop in and try some of our Games, sample some Teas, Coffees and Food from all around the world, and drop by one of our Tuesday night Acoustic Sessions and sample some of the top up and coming talent in music. We are open seven days a week. Monday to Friday 9 till 5. Saterdays from 9 till 6 and Sundays 10 till 5. We also open late every second Tuesday from 7 till 9.30ish for live music, more can be found out about that in the Acoustic sessions section, and late openings can be arranged by dropping a line and discussing it with management at [email protected][LOVEMYFLASH][/LOVEMYFLASH]

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Two Bosses: Boss numero uno you might see floating about at the weekend chatting to customers and catching up on all the gossip, shes worse than half of the people who come in with gossip. Boss number two (the other head honcho) you'll see on a daily basis. He is either attached to a P.C. or consol trying to make something new and fantastic work, putting more holes in walls for new gadgets, or generally sticking his hand in where needed, jack of all trades that man.The Barista's: Davide, Barista number one is in just as often as the head honcho and Katie (you'll be told about her next). Often attached to the coffee machine, pumping out coffee's, singing, dancing, and occasionally looking a little harrassed and confused (he's easily confused and more than a little funny)he also helps to arrange Games Tournaments and is responsible for all the musical needs of the House.Katie is our Head Waitress and other full time Barista, more often found serving the tables than at the machine. Katies full of charm and as much gossip as the top boss, and more than capable of showing Davide up when she wants to.The Games Guru's: Steve, the man, who can commonly be heard touting 'take it' when he shows a challenger who is still boss and that's why he works here, is the font of so much knowledge about computer games and consols we were astounded. And he can play them too!! Friendly and mild mannered he is your first port of call for questions on any aspect of the Gaming Center, and you cant miss him, often in a gaming orientated t-shirt and showing off hair so long he could kill a small orc with it, youll not forget him once you meet him. The head honcho (Madjock) and Davide (Fuzzy) serve as the other two Games Guru's and regular champions over competitors.Waiting Staff: the other waiting staff, comprised of Laura (training to be a super Barista too) Claire, Jack's, and occasionally Gary, Angela, Ashley, and Jill, can all be found roaming the Coffee House Floor at the weekends and on the music nights. There just as full of good spirit and gossip and jokes as the rest, and don't fail in there duties to prove we won our awards for a reason!
