About Me
Jeanne and The Obvious is a versatile ,fun,musically excellent, and exciting cover band made up of four professional musicians with many years of experience. We also have some originals,written by the members of the band.
Jeanne sings and plays keys/synth and percussion,John sings and plays bass,Tom sings and plays lead guitar,and Rob adds an amazing enregy and funkiness! You cannot sit still when you hear us play-you will just have to get up and dance!
We all sing lead vocals and we have great harmonies. All songs are performed as they were originally recorded,in their ORIGINAL keys. People always say that they can't believe how much we sound like the original record.
We play all styles:classic rock,blues,party rock,motown,R and B FUNK,reggae.soca,standards~any requests you have,just make them known to us and we will play them. We all live on Long Island and have played there as well as all over. We have been playing together and in other projects for over a decade. We love to get the crowd dancing!
