Rock-reggae getaways for your soul with Manhattan swagger; all as unforgettable as your first kiss is the best way to describe Ty Hall & The EZ3 (www.theez3.com). This four piece group of misfits is fronted by a charismatic, fearless front man with an affinity for the sounds of the beach. With influences such as Sublime, Rancid, Bob Marley, The Clash and The Police, Ty Hall & The EZ3 are bringing a fresh sound and attitude to the streets and airwaves.
Described as the most interesting man in the world by John Moran (Live 88.5, Ottawa Canada), Ty Hall and The EZ3 have been performing over all over their native Canada literally dragging sunshine and summertime with them everywhere they go. Helping Ty Hall spread the warmth of his music is Anders Drerup (guitars), James Rooke (bass), Trevor Grey (drums).
Produced by Peter Gilroy and released under CLMG/Fontana North/Universal, the latest offering from Ty Hall & The EZ3 is - Something Like That - which will have the band on the road promoting their new EP - Dollars and Nonsense all over North America during the next eighteen months. - Touring Canada is like no other place. A seventeen hour drive between major urban areas is not uncommon in fact it is pretty normal- says the band.
The band has been very fortunate over the past year and half receiving over $30,000 in support through local radio station Live 88.5 and their Big Money Shot contest. The band has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with other great performers such as Mobile, Daniel Wesley, USS, Beast, The Salads, The Johnstones among many others. The band was also invited to perform at the National COCA (Canadian Organization Of Campus Activities) showcase this year in Newfoundland
