With a strong passion to convey a unique sound and deep revelation of modern Worship to the nations, Melbourne’s THE KINGDOM are a refreshing change to the Christian music genre.
With enormous praise anthems and rock-infused pop riffs defining their edgy sound, and the deeper message of Gods uncompromised love and grace reflected within their lyrics, their debut album Light Has Come is already touching both the ears and hearts of many across the world.
Challenged and commissioned by God to communicate His heart through modern worship across the earth, to impassionate love for their saviour, Jesus Christ, THE KINGDOM are armed with a spirit of breakthrough and prophetic anointing, the mission is clear: to expand His Kingdom.
The members of The Kingdom have been playing together for over eight years, serving within their local church (Real Life CC, Melbourne) as committed worship leaders and ministers.
Their debut album Light Has Come, released in 2008, is an explosion of praise and worship that’s unique, professional and passionate. Working closely with Joth Hunt & Henry Seeley from Planetshakers, a year and a half in the making, this project was mixed and mastered at ‘The Cool Room’. Great feedback from colleagues in the Christian music scene, as well as anyone who has been fortunate enough to share their ears & hearts with them, has this team more excited than ever….
