Nikolas Gale was born in Athens in 1985. He got introduced to music at the age of 12 when he started drums lessons @ Philippos Nakas Conservatory, where he continued until the age of 20. He has also attended music theory and jazz harmony lessons for 3 years. At the age of 18, Nikolas went on to study "Music Technology and Acoustics" @ the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Crete, in Rethymnon Branch, where he stayed for 5 years. He got a residency in Nafpigio SoundBar and he performed in various places, either as a dj or a drummer. On 2006 he won a competition, named "Best Weekend Mix Dj Contest", which was sponsored by a large radio station in Greece, (Best Radio 92.6). He finished his Bachelor's Degree in September 2008, and he decided to move to UK for postgraduate studies. Now he is living in Cardiff, the hometown of Wales, and he is attending an "MSc Advanced Music Production" course, @ Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries. After many years of training, and with the usage of the most cutting edge musical and technological equipment, he has found a way that allows him to play with the words "improvisation" and "innovation". By using various means of "expression", combined in a creative way for live performances, you can see him collaborate with live instrumentalists, vjs who are totally in sync with his music, or even performing in his electronic drums set while he is controlling the dexxx... As a producer, Nikolas is very interesting in rhythmic variations. In other words, making music, by using various rhythm phrases and only percussive sounds.
