ABOUT ME:
♥ So I felt like my “about me” section needed a change. I’m currently finishing my studies at SFSU; double majoring in Business – Corporate Finance and Information Systems. I couldn’t decide between the two, so I decided to just complete them both. It’s been a long and hard road; I’ve made a lot of sacrifices and put a lot of things on hold. School is my number one priority and I don’t have too much time for anything else. I love education and put it on a pedestal. It is extremely hard for me to find things in common with people who just get by in life and don’t feel like they have any more learning or growing to do. Anything that comes my way that is challenging and logical, I’m all about it. I love mathematics, computers, sciences, languages, art, music…. You name it, I like and appreciate it all! I absolutely can not stand people who say “I hate math, it’s stupid!” just because your tiny brain can’t wrap around something so brilliant and smart, doesn’t mean that it’s stupid, maybe you should rephrase that statement with an “I’m” before the “stupid”! I fully understand that everyone possesses different skills and talents, however in our society a lot of people don’t use their brains to their full capacities. Sad, but true. I was born in Ukraine and moved to the States in 1994. So I started learning English at the age of 12. Majority of the people who meet me and speak to me have a hard time believing that English is my second language, technically speaking. I am a good writer and an excellent speller. I also can not stand people who can’t spell and have terrible grammar and actually say, “My spelling sucks”. Well sh*t, if you know your spelling sucks, do something about it, read a freaking book, take some lessons; but don’t just accept it like it’s okay, because it’s not. Yes I know I sound negative, but how can one be positive about things like that? These issues are definitely important to me, to the point that most of my “about me” section ended up to be about them. Oh well. I’m sure only a hand full of you will actually take the time to read this whole thing, and the other ones with the bad spelling and grammar will see how long this is and be like, “oh hell nah, I don’t go to school for a reason, cause I no likie no essays!” LOL. Now that I’m done being “negative”, I’ll focus on the positives. I’m one of those undercover nerds. I don’t act nor look like one. I have been into video games for as long as I can remember, I can kick a dude’s ass in a video game easily. Unfortunately haven’t had much time for that lately. I love long drives, especially when I’m in good company. Whenever I can, I definitely do like to go out and drink and have a good time. I am a very social person and easily befriend all kinds of people. I’m extremely blunt and outspoken, almost to a fault, but I am also polite so I know when to just keep my mouth shut. I do like to be right and to beat my point into the ground, yet I am also able to pick and choose my battles. Friendly arguments and/or disagreements are fun as long as both parties are able to agree to disagree. I’m also very kind-hearted, sensitive, caring, loyal, and empathetic. If I could, I’d help and save everyone. I’m such a softie sometimes that I don’t even have it in me to stay mad. I get over things pretty quickly and pride myself on not holding grudges. I believe that everything happens for a reason and life is too short to have any regrets. Every single experience has contributed to who we are today. So to wrap this up, I can have fun in any situation, as long as I’m in good company. My fun factor does NOT depend on WHAT I'm doing, it's all about WHO I'm doing it with. (that's not supposed to sound dirty btw) =)
One more thing: Please don't send me a message asking me what I like to do for fun and what I go to school for, etc; I feel as though my profile is pretty detailed and self-explanatory. Thanks...
