***WHAT THE LISTENERS ARE SAYING***meravigliosa esecuzione, Ars Aureum Brass !!!!!
Penso che Johann Sebastian sia contento e sorrida dal Cielo.Golden art: it sounds like it 's called! This is so beautiful and enjoyable as I sit here with my morning coffee, sunlight filtering in through the partially opened vertical blinds.Simply heavenlyBravo!I love the music! it takes me out of all the problems that in the world today -I am new to this site and i am so glad that i have found it because it is so appealing to the mind!lFantastic, in many ways. The piccolo meshes perfectly, yet hauntingly. . .can't tell really that's it's a brass instrument in there. The bass line like cloiuds floating by. And the melody always soothingly solid, organic and crisp. Bravo!-Spectaculaire !!!!-ROYAL-stunning, wonderful tempo-Absolutely smashing!-Deeply musical, impeccable-Brass music is wonderful. It lifts your spirit to the dizzying heights of snow-covered mountain tops.-It's remarkable how this music, while it sounds good on almost any instrument, has this transcendental feeling to it when it's played on brass. Not of this world***Brainchild of Raimundo DÃaz (1962, San Juan, Puerto Rico), french horn player, multi-instrumentalist and composer.DÃaz has called upon his mastery of a wide range of instruments to achieve his ideal of self-sufficient recorded performances. His repertory ranges from Renaissance to Contemporary music. His musical training started in the Real Conservatorio de Madrid (1970-1973). He later completed his training at the Escuela Libre de Música (1975-1981) in San Juan and The Juilliard School in New York (1982-1985). In 1982 he studied at the Center for Computer Music at CUNY under Charles Dodge. Afterwards, he began his career as a Horn Player at the Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico (1985-1991)In 1991 he returned to Spain to play with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias and in 1998 with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia.Throughout his years as an orchestral player DÃaz has led an active parallel life as recording artist, film composer, painter, photographer and experimental filmmaker. In 2000 he re- established his residence in Puerto Rico where he plays with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico .Finally in 2007 he created Ars Aureum Brass Consort, a "nom de plume" for his recordings that are generally dedicated to the late rennaisance-early baroque repertoire, but which sometimes also serves as an outlet for music that hails from the early classical repertoire (e.g. Mozart Symphony K16). He performs on the Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Piccolo trumpet, Horn, Piccolo Horn, Valve Trombone and Wagner Tubas.Diaz’s discography as a studio player include more than 70 recordings including film soundtracks. Since 2007 he has released his records with his own label, Paloseco Records...
