Aroa, born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, crossed the Atlantic Ocean and moved to New York City all by herself being still a teenager. Currently in Miami, where she has been residing for the last year and a half, and having accomplished all her personal goals, this determined young lady is now ready to take her next and most decisive step in her professional life.Recording:In 2004 Aroa recorded “Juego Sucio”, a single written and composed by herself which features Spanish rapper El Disop, included in “100% RnB in Espanol” Spanish RnB compilation in which she also did a collaboration on a Flavio Rodriguez (well known RnB-Neo Soul Spanish artist) track which featured rapper Kunta-K too.Before she moved to the United States, collaborated on several Spanish Hip Hop and Dance Hall artists.Songwriting and producing: Not very often someone so young is so mature and interested and/or concerned about some of the fields exposed on her lyrics, and at the same time so fresh and naughty. Personally-driven and female-empowerment themed compositions, among other social issues, are some of the subjects we can find in her repertory, combined with flirty naughty worry-free words as well.Music Style:Melodic and sophisticated, yet urban and contemporary RnB, splashed with some funk, dance hall, pop, latin and soul influences is the receipt of this spiced sound which combines sexy slow jams, and fresh banging uptempo club track. All this is complemented by a sensual and powerful choreography, and shocking energetic stage presence.
