What makes me different???
1st: I play what I & the people like.
2nd: I improvise a lot as you can hear in my live Demos.
3rd: I play with minimum 3 CDJs at the time and using loads of effects.
It's not just mixing one song after the other, is n the middle what it counts.
I never practice at home. So when I get tired of a track, people will as well. Therefore, I will barely make the same mix twice.
This is why when anyone has listened to me, that one time is enough to make them want to keep track of me. Is all about how I play and perform. People really like it and try to see me again, wherever I am.

DJTV Mexico Interviews dJMS @ Pioneer Pro DJ Mexico semi-finals:
Armando Jaimes (dJMS) Bio [English Version]:
Armando Jaimes better known as JMS (JaMeS),
born in Mexico City on 1983, starts his interest by the electronic music in 1998.
Thanks to the public introduction of the Internet, and under influences of his idol Pete Tong (BBC Radio 1 UK), as well as of the maximum exponents of the house, progressive, and trance scenes at the time, like Carl Cox,Paul Van Dyk, Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed,
Judge Jules, Nick Warren, Erick Morillo, among others…
It was the crisis in the scene on 2003, when Pete Tong along with the English magazine MixMag in search of new talents, caught the attention of JMS making him move to Chelsea, London in June 2004 to try “infiltrate†in the scene.
On April 2005, after meeting Pete Tong in person, is when JMS buys his first CDJs & Turntables, beginning to mix for the very first time and recording demos (which circulate around Europe on CDs as well as over the Internet).
And it is suddenly thanks to one of these promos, that in May 2005 dJMS accepts the proposal to mix at Aquarium, a club in Old Street London which has 2 rooms, pool and jacuzzi, to give his first public set ever, in the main room. Successfully obtaining the Thursdays residence along that Summer.
Later, in December 2005 after several events along, he obtains the residence at maybe the Wednesdays most famous event in all London, which takes place at the Yacht Club anchored in Victoria Embankment (Thames River) near the Big Ben and London Eye. Of the 3 rooms, dJMS one with the new genres of Electro House & Minimal House, became the most successful in a very short time.
But the best was yet to to come…
Apart form that residence, his unquestionable talent opens him the doors to DJ at legendary places in the world. Like Thirst Bar in the Soho, Bar SIA in Wimbledon, Bar Inigo in Clapham, and its double residence every Friday at SIN Club, and POP Club in Soho. ..In this last one, sharing the night with Lee Dagger from the famous duo Bimbo Jones, and Simon Dale from Kiss100 FM UK.
With up to 3 events per night, dJMS being from the very few Mexican DJs in the worldwide capital city of Electronic & Dance music, decides to make his own event at the Yatch Club.
A great success that leads him to open Agave Lounge in Fulham London, just 10 minutes from of Chelsea FC stadium. Organizing the best afterparties in the southwest of London to date, which took place every Saturday and on the last Tuesday of every month.
This clandestine event, was the most famous afterpaty within the Mexican comunity by far, to which all the nationalities used to attend.
For the 2007 New Year, dJMS after giving sets at Agave Lounge, and the posh club Le Suite in South Kensington, inaugurates his INSOMNIA Afterparties at 7:00am, mixing for 5 hours, his longest set by that time.
In ascent, dJMS receives the opportunity to mix on March 3th 2007 at the VIP room of Canvas, in King's Cross London. One of the biggest and more popular night clubs in and outside England. As well as to celebrate his birthday at The Yacht Club in The Thames River on April 15th, and a week before at The Cross (residence night club of X-Press 2, James Zabiela, and many events like those of Renaissance).
Sharing decks in both occasions, by incredible line-ups with the best DJs and Producers of the world.
Despite it all, perhaps what most surprises was when on February 2007, after going to see his Swedish Mafia inspirators: Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso at Ministry Of Sound London, dJMS delighted the public at his INSOMNIA Afterparty with a set from 9am to 6:30pm! Which was recorded and uploaded online by a fan, being of his most searched materials, along with his weekly Podcasts ESSENTIAL BEATS, and his monthly Setcasts Insomnia Afterparty Show.
In Mexico with some events in between (like DJing at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), in the Mexican capital on 2007, and the Universidad del Valle de Mexico on 2009), is that since Autumn 2007, dJMS frequently mixes around the country, sharing the stage with national and international artists like Sintonika, Karlos Elizondo & Martin Parra, Playmate DJ Loli, along many more...
And in Mexico City, he has shared decks with artists like BT, Kermit, Joy Marquez, Alan Hellion, Gudiño, and the Beat Team from national electronic radio station 100.9 FM.
His endless stamina, verified when landing from Europe in Mexico and mixing the same night by 6hrs until daw, as well as his vast productions of podcasts, mixes, remixes, bootlegs, mashups and edits. Make of dJMS a promise for the Mexican & Worldwide Electronic scene.
Currently in 2009 hosting his weekly "Setcast" ESSENTIAL BEATS at ElectroFreakquency,webng.com (since 2007), dJMS runner-up of the Desafio DJ 2009 organized by Pioneer Pro DJ Mexico & CirculoZero.com , being a fan of DJing with at least 3 decks at once, Midi controllers, Pads, Keyboards, and his manipultions of Effects and Acapellas, as well as his own ElectroHouse and TechHouse productions, says:
"It is not just mixing one record after the other, what happens in between is what counts.
I never practice at home to don't get fed up with the tracks or being a DJ. Therefore I will barely make the same transition twice.
Not it's time to fully evolve in terms of Production & Live Set, to open my record label, and distribute my work.
I give the best of myself, and provide what I used to expect when seeing a DJ live;
a quality show!"
