 I can't believe I'm on MySpace. It's great to be part of a community where you can network with friends and those with similar interests. I am thrilled to be living in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale with sand between my toes so I feel I'm right at home again with the water and beach, not to speak of the the incredible historic downtown! I'm happy to have two incredible children (Rachel - 20, professional music major at Berklee College of Music in Boston) and (Gordon - 18, recently graduated from Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, SC who currently plays with three different bands in the Charleston area in addition to touring from time to time). God and music are the two passions in my life. My kids and I are all musicians. I am a vocalist, songwriter, and play piano and trombone. Rachel is a vocalist, songwriter and plays piano and guitar. Gordon is a drummer and is also involved in recording engineering and will probably end up producing music as well as recording and playing drums. I am a pastor by day and singer by night. My main styles are Jazz, Old school R & B, and pop (with a touch of jazz). I enjoy singing at different venues in Charleston. My first cd "Charleston Christmas"- (Christmas standards sung in a jazz setting) is available for purchase through ITunes or cdbaby.com. A new jazz standards cd of classic love songs is scheduled to be recorded this summer in Los Angeles with a major music producer. I'm stoked! There are so many things that can get you down. So, there's nothing like knowing that your music or song is touching someone's life and making it a little better. I've included many world class musicians as friends.
